Mori Terms of Use
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Mori’s developer (“we”, “us”) for the Mori app and its services. By using Mori you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Mori.
Who can use Mori
Mori is made for adults. You must be at least 13 to use Mori, and at least 18 to connect a bank or buy a subscription. Mori is offered in the United States.
Coins, seeds and other game items
Coins, seeds, characters, decorations and everything else in Mori are part of the game. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money or anything outside Mori, and can’t be sold or transferred. We may correct balances that were awarded in error, including coins earned from bank activity that is later reversed, corrected or found not to qualify. Your garden is never taken away because of how you save or spend.
Connecting a bank
Connecting a bank is optional. If you do, you authorize us to receive your account and transaction information through Plaid, as described in our Privacy Policy, and you confirm that you’re allowed to access the accounts you connect. Plaid’s own terms and its End User Privacy Policy apply to your use of Plaid. Mori only reads information; it can’t move money. Bank data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and rewards based on it may be held for review or adjusted. You can disconnect at any time in Money.
Not financial advice
Mori is a game that encourages saving. It is not a bank, financial advisor, tax advisor or credit counselor. Savings targets, spending plans and Pip’s notes are general information, not advice for your situation, and we don’t guarantee any financial result. You are responsible for your financial decisions, including any transfer you make and any fees your bank charges.
Subscriptions
Some features may require a subscription bought through Apple. Prices, renewal periods and any free trial are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. When a subscription or trial ends, Mori removes your bank connection; your garden stays.
Playing fair
Don’t cheat the game’s rewards (for example by moving the same money back and forth), interfere with Mori’s service, access it by automated means, reverse engineer the app except where the law allows, or use Mori for anything unlawful. We may suspend features or accounts that break these rules.
Changes and availability
Mori is still growing. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app; continuing to use Mori means you accept the new terms.
Ending
You can stop using Mori and delete your data at any time, as the Privacy Policy explains. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Mori; if we stop offering it, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can.
Disclaimers and limits
Mori is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your bank, Plaid or other services outside our control, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Mori in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Mori or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn’t responsible for any claims about it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims. If Mori fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you aren’t in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
