Mori Privacy Policy

The short version

Your garden lives on your iPhone. Mori has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. We don’t sell or share your personal information.

What stays on your device

Your garden, characters, journal, nicknames, notes, savings goals, bill amounts you type in, and your sound, haptics and reminder choices. They are stored only on your iPhone and are not sent to us.

What we collect

Only anonymous usage steps, and only while “Share anonymous usage” is on in Mori’s Privacy & help. Mori then sends which steps of the game you’ve reached (for example “planted a first seed”), which day you opened the app, the app version and a random install number made on your iPhone. It never includes your name, nicknames, goals, amounts, notes or bank information, and it isn’t linked to you or used to track you. Mori contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Bank linking

Bank linking is not available in the current version. When it arrives, it will be optional and use Plaid, and we will update this policy and ask for your permission before any bank information is read. Plaid’s own practices are described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

Reminders

If you turn on the evening note, your iPhone schedules it locally. You can turn it off in Mori’s Comfort & settings or in iOS Settings.

Children

Mori is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Deleting your data

Deleting Mori from your iPhone permanently removes everything it stored. Your garden has no copy anywhere else.

Your rights

We hold no personal information, only anonymous usage steps that can’t be connected to you. Turning off “Share anonymous usage” stops them and clears any not yet sent. This applies wherever you live, including California and the EU and UK. We do not sell or share personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and in the app with a new date.
